Tork Kratos, an electric bike with a range of 120 Km on a full charge, has been launched.

One more new bike has been added to the electric segment. Pune-based start-up TorkMotors has launched a new Kratos electric bike mileage of 120 km on a full charge in the Indian market, which can be booked for just ₹ 999, priced at ₹ 1.02 lakh. Price of ex-showroom in Delhi. The company has introduced this bike in two versions Kratos and Kratos R.

Booking

With the launch, the company has started booking for both versions. Customers who want to buy this e-bike can book it by paying only Rs 999 on the official website of the company. From April of this year, delivery of this electric bike will start

Battery, Power, and Speed

The Tork Kratos electric bike is given an IP67-rated 4 Kwh lithium-ion battery pack with a system voltage of 48V. Its IDC range is 180 km, while the real-world range is 120 km. 100 km/h is the top speed of this bike. It generates a maximum power of 7.5 kW and a maximum torque of 28 Nm. The company claims that this bike can reach a speed of 0 to 40 km/h in 4 seconds. While the high-spec Kratos R is given a more powerful motor, which generates 9.0 kW of power and 38 Nm of torque. Its top speed is 105 km/h compared to the standard model.

Features

The Tork Kratos electric bike is provided with an IP67-rated lithium-ion battery pack, which comes in an aluminum alloy casing to ensure protection against water damage. The Kratos will come with a fast-charging system, which will charge the battery from 0 to 80 percent in just 1 hour. However, fast charging facility is provided only in Kratos R bikes. It will also have some extra connectivity features. It has features like Geofencing, Find My Vehicle Feature, Motorwalk Assist, Crash Alert, Vacation Mode, Track Mode Analysis as well as Smart Charge Analysis.
Apart from this, the bike will have its own operating system, named Tork Intuitive Response Operating System (TIROS). The system will collect and analyze data for each ride. It will oversee key components such as real-time power consumption, power management, and range forecasting. In addition, the 4.3-inch TFT screen is equipped with features like anti-theft and app and cloud connectivity.

Color option

The standard model is only available in a white color option, while the high-spec model can be purchased in a range of color options such as white, blue, red, and black. The new Tork Kratos EV will be made available in phases across India. Initially, it will be launched in major Indian cities like Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, and Delhi. The motorcycle will be taken to more cities in the second phase
